This Indenture made and entered into This The Thirteenth day of March in The year of
our Lord Eighteen hundred and seventy one (1871) between Archibald T. Banks and 
Layorah I. Banks his wife of the County of Alachua and State of Florida party of 
the first part and Joseph C. Emerson of the County of Nassau and State aforesaid
party of the second part -
   Witnesseth - That the said party of the first part for and in consider-
ation of the sum of one hundred dollars to them in hand paid at and before
the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby ac-
knowledged hath granted bargained sold aliened and conveyed and by
these presents doth hereby grant bargain sell alien and conveyed all that
certain lot or parcel of land lying and being and being situate in the Town
of Waldo County of Alachua and State of Florida and known and described
as follows to - wit= half of Lot number one (1) and block fourteen (14) known as
the Smart Walker lot containing by estimation three fourths of an acre more
or less -
   To have and to hold the said described premises unto the said party of
the second part his heirs and assigns in fee simple together with all and
singular the right privileges tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining
   And the said party of the first part in consideration of the premises
aforesaid the right and title to said land in the said party of the second
part their heirs and assigns will forever warrant and defend

dower in and to the herein before described premises freely and voluntarily
and without any constraint fear or apprehension of or from her said hus-
band - Taken and acknowledged before me }
