                  Know all men by these presents
that for and in Consideration of the Sum of One
thousand Dollars in hand paid the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, I have bargained
Sold, and delivered to John E. Hicks acting for
himself and as agent for others my entire interest
in the firm of Snowden and Adams at Archer
inclusive of my interest in the Stock of goods and
all the assets and property of every Kind belonging
to Said firm, and I do hereby bargain Sell and
deliver the same to the said John E. Hicks

State of Florida personally came Edward L. Young
who says upon oath that he Witnessed the
Signing & Sealing of the foregoing instrument
and that the Same was so signed & Sealed for
the purposes therein indicated & Set forth

County of Alachua } This Indenture made this first day 
                    of March AD 1869 by George L. Barnes 
Sheriff of said County of the first part and Jason M.
Fairbanks of Duval County State aforesaid of the Second 
part. Witnesseth,
Whereas by virtue of a writ of Fieri Facias issued out 
of the Circuit Court of Alachua County, and to the said 
Sheriff delivered, he was Commanded that of the goods 
and Chattels, Lands and Tenements of Lemuel Wilson he 
cause to be made the Sum of One Thousand Six Hun
dred and Thirty three dollars with Interest thereon and 
Costs of suit, which Geo R. Fairbanks lately recovered 
in said Court against Lemuel Wilson, and whereas the 
said Sheriff by virtue of said writ, did on the twelfth
day of January A.D. 1869 levy upon and seize the property
