seventy one 38/100 acres more or less Containing in all six hundred and
forty five 38/100 acres more or less together with all the privileges and appur-
tenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold
the above described lands to the said E.T. Hawhthorn his heirs assigns for
ever in fee simple and said J.M. Hawthorn for himself his heirs Executors
administrators will forever warrant and defend the rights and titles
thereunto against the claim of all persons whatsoever In testimony
whereof the said J.M. Hawthorn hereunto sets his hand and seal this the fif-

day of December AD 1870 Calvin Waits one of the subscribing wit=
nesses to the above deed who being duly sworn says that he saw
J.M. Hawthorn sign the same for the purposes therein set forth

  This Indenture made the 19th day of August in the year one Thousand
Eight hundred and seventy between John R. Campbell of the town of
Newnansville in the County of Alachua and State of Florida of the first part
and William L. Richardson of the same place of the second part
Witnesseth that the said party of the first part in consideration of the
sum of one hundred and eighty three dollars lawful money of the United
States to him duly paid has sold and by these presents does grant and
convey to the said party of the second part all that certain piece or parcel
of land which is known and described as follows to wit: as the North
west quarter of the south west quarter of section ten (10) Township Eight
Range Eighteen S & E with the appurtenances and all the estate title
interest of the said party of the first part therein - This grant is
intended as a security for the payment of one hundred and Eighty
three dollars to be paid on the first day of January one thousand
Eight hundred and seventy one if duly made will render this
conveyance void and if default shall be made in the payment
thereof then the said party of the second part and his assigns are hereby
authorized to sell the premises above granted or so much thereof
as will be necessary to satisfy the amount then with the cost and
expenses allowed by law - In Witness Whereof the party of the first part
hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written.
