hereinafter described, and whereas the said George L. Barnes
as Sheriff as aforesaid did by virtue of said writ, and
pursuant to the Statute in such case made and provi-
ded, duly advertise the said property for sale on Mon-
day the first day of March A.D. 1869, being the day and
date of these presents, and did on this day sell the same
at public auction according to law, to the said Jason M.
Fairbanks of Duval County State aforesaid for the sum of
One Thousand and fifteen dollars being the highest bidder for
the same.
Now therefore know ye that I the said George L. Barnes as
Sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of the said writ, in such case
made and provided, and in consideration of the said sum
of One Thousand and Fifteen dollars to me paid by the party
of the second part, have granted, sold and by these pres-
ents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said party of the
second part, his heirs and assigns forever all the follow-
$1.50 U.S. Rev. ing property to wit: Block Five (5) and six (6) in Range
Stamps Cancelled Four (4) and Block Four (4) Five (5) and Six (6) in Range Three
(3) in the Town of Newnansville, also the north half of
North East quarter, and south west quarter of North east quarter
and west half of South east quarter of Section Fourteen, and
the west half of south west quarter of Section Twelve, and
the north west quarter of north west quarter and East half of
South east quarter and south west quarter of south East quarter
and the South west quarter of Section Thirteen (13) and the North
half of the north half of North East quarter and the north
half of the north half of North West quarter of Section Twenty
four and the west half of North East quarter and the east
half of North west quarter of section Twenty three (23)
all in Township Eight (8) south, Range Eighteen (18) east
and containing in all Eight Hundred and Sixty acres more
or less, Together with all the rights, titles and interests
which the said Lemuel Wilson had in the said prop
erty, jointly and severally, and the same to hold as fully
as I the said Sheriff as aforesaid under said writ,
might Could or ought to sell the Same
