                Sheriff's Deed
State of Florida  }
County of Alachua } This Indenture made this sixth day of February AD 1871
between George L. Barnes Sheriff of said County of the first part and William
Edwards of the County of Alachua State of Florida of the second part Witnesseth That
whereas by virtue of a writ of Fieri Facias issued out of the Circuit Court
for said County and to him the said Sheriff directed he was commanded
That of the goods and chattles and and tenements of John W. Peacock he cause
to be made the sum of five Hundred and forty dollars with interest thereon
together with costs of suit which William Edwards lately on the 12th day of Decem-
ber AD 1870 recovered in the Circuit Court against John W. Peacock and
Whereas I George L. Barnes as sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of said writ did
on the 23 day of January AD 1871 levy upon and seize the property here-
in after described and did by virtue of said writs and pursuant to
the Statutes in such case made and provided duly advertise the said
property for sale on the 6th day of February AD 1871 and did on that
day sell the same at public auction according to law to William
Edwards for the sum of one hundred dollars being the highest sum for the
same - Now therefore know ye that I the said George L. Barnes as
sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of the said writs and of the statutes in
such cases made and provided for and in consideration of said sum of
one Hundred dollars to me in hand paid by the said William Edwards
party of the second part have granted bargained and sold and by these
presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said William Edwards
party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever all the following
property to wit: The North West quarter 1/4 and the west half 1/2 of the north
East quarter 1/4 of section Twenty seven (27) Township ten (10) Range
twenty two south and East containing Two hundred and forty acres
more or less together with all the rights titles interests Equities which
the said John W. Peacock had of in or to the same To have to hold
as fully as I the said George L. Barnes as sheriff as aforesaid might
could or ought to sell and convey the same. Given under my hand
and seal this the sixth day of February AD 1871.

This Indenture made this 7th day of January in the year of our Lord one
thousand Eight hundred and seventy one between John B. Blake of
Washington District of Columbia trustee of Mrs Margarette A. Blake of the
first part and Peter W. Sparkman of Waldo State of Florida of the
second part Witnesseth That the said part of the first part for and
in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars in lawful
money of the United States to him in hand paid by the said party
of the second part at and before the sealing and delivery of these
