Twenty Three (23) The said several lots pieces and parcels having been
conveyed to me by J.T. Soulter and John McRae Trustees by Two deeds
of Indenture bearing date respectively The Twelvth day of June in the
year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and sixty seven - To
have and to hold the above described premises together with all
and singular the rights and privileges immunities Easements and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise incident or
appertaining unto the said Samuel A. Swann and his heirs and
assigns as their absolute property in fee simple forever. And I
the said E. Magrath for myself my heirs Executors and adminis-
trators do hereby warrant and defend the said premises unto the
said Samuel A. Swann his heirs and assigns from and against
me my heirs Executors and administrators and all the persons
whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
 In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal at
Charleston in the said State of South Carolina this Eighteenth day of
January in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and 
seventy one

me V.J. Tobias a Commissioner duly appointed and authorised
by the Executive authority and under the laws of the State of Florida to
take within the State of South Carolina proof and acknowledgement
of Deeds &c to be used and recorded in said State of Florida personally
appeared Edward Magrath to me known to be the person de-
scribed in and who Executed the foregoing Instrument and ac-
knowledged the Execution thereof to be his free act and deed for
the uses and purposes therein mentioned. In testimony whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and official seal at Charleston
aforesaid This Eighteenth day of January in the year one thousand
Eight hundred and seventy one.
