Alachua County   } This Indenture made and Executed This the Twentieth
day of January 1871 between Joseph B. Webb of the County and State
above written of the first part and Noah Townsend of the same County
and State of the second part Witnesseth That the said Joseph B.
Webb for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars
to him in hand paid by said Noah Townsend the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged have bargained granted sold conveyed
and delivered and by these presents do grant bargain sell convey and
deliver unto said Noah Townsend his heirs and assigns all of
the following described lands or parcels of land lying and being
in the County of Alachua and known as the North East qr of the
North East quarter of section Twenty (20) and the South East qr
of the South East quarter of section seventeen (17) in Range
Twenty two (22) Township ten (10) Containing Eighty (80) acres
more or less to have and to hold the said before described pres-
ents together with all the rights and appurtenances thereunto be-
longing to him the said Noah Townsend his heirs and as-
signs forever in fee simple and the said Joseph P. Webb for him-
self and his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever
will warrant and defend the right and title thereunto against
the claim of all persons whatsoever - In Testimony whereof
the said Joseph B. Webb has this day signed sealed and
delivered Jan 20th 1871. }
