State of Florida } This indenture made on the nineteenth day of
Alachua County   }
December in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and
seventy between Layorah I. Banks and Arch L. Banks of the first part
and William L. Shuford of the second part Witnesseth: That for and in
consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to them in hand
paid at and before the signing and delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said parties of the 
first part have given granted bargained sold and delivered and
by these presents do so give grant bargain sell and deliver to the
said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns the
following described real Estate that is to say that certain town
lot in the village of Micanopy State and County aforesaid bound-
ed on the North by lot now owned and occupied by David McCredie
on the East by lot now owned by Wm Edwards and Jacob Winecoff
on the South by lot now owned by William Edwards and occupied
by Mr Sherman and on the west by lot now owned and occupi-
ed by Geo S. Riggs containing one acre of land more or less -
  To have and to hold the said town lot above described to-
gether with all and singular the houses buildings improvements
and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise ap-
pertaining unto the said party of the second part his heirs
Executors and administrators and assigns in fee simple forever -
and the said parties of the first part covenant and agree with the
said party of the second part That they are seized in fee of the 
aforegranted and conveyed premises that they are free from
all incumbrances That they have good right to sell and convey
the same to the said party of the second part and that they will

and their heirs Executors and^administrators shall warrant
and defend the title to the same The said party of the second
part his heirs Executors or administrators and assigns forever
against the lawful claim and demand of all persons
 In testimony whereof the said parties of the first part
have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals on the
day and year first above written.

Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that I
Layorah I. Banks wife of Archd L. Banks of my own free will
and accord and without any compulsion constraint apprehension
or fear of or from my said husband became a party to the foregoing
Indenture and thereby conveyed all my right title and interest
in and to the certain town lot to the said William L. Shuford for
the consideration therein named in testimony whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal
