Alachua County   } Personally appeared before me Wm K. Cessna Clerk
of the Circuit Court John J. Thompson who being duly sworn says that
he with D.P. Newsom saw the above deed signed by Layorah I. Banks &
Archd T. Banks for the purposes and uses therein set forth.

This indenture made and Entered into on this the thirteenth day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and seventy one
between The Florida Land and Immigration Company party of the 
first part and Augustus McHan party of the second part Witnesseth
that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum
of Two hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the party of the second
part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have given granted
aliened bargained sold transferred and do by these presents give
grant alien bargain sell transfer and convey unto the said party
of the second part all those certain parcels or tracts of land lying
and being in the County of Alachua and State of Florida and more
particularly known and described on the public maps of said
State as the south west quarter of the North East quarter: The
south East quarter of the North West quarter : The North half of the
North West quarter of the South East quarter all of section fourteen
Township Eight South Range twenty one East containing together
one hundred acres more or less. To have and to hold the above de-
scribed premises together with all and singular the rights and priv-
ileges immunities Easements and appurtenances thereunto belonging
or in any wise appertaining unto the said party of the second part
and his heirs as their absolute property in fee simple forever - And the
said Florida Land and Immigration Company do covenant and
agree that they are seized of a good and indefeasible fee simple to the
above premises and that they have good right to convey the same as they have con-
veyed the same free and discharged from all Encumbrances and liens of any 
and every nature and description and that the said party of the second part
his heirs and assigns shall quietly and peaceably enjoy the above de-
scribed premises against all persons whatsoever lawfully
claiming the same - And That they will at any and all times make
such further covenants conveyances and assurances at the Ex-
pense of the said party of the second part as he the said
