Know all men by these presents that I William
W. Lewis, for and in consideration of the sum of ten dollars to me
in hand paid, have rented and leased unto William R. Lewis, for
the period of four years from the date hereof my fishery, known as the
"Sink" situated in the SW1/4 of section 22, T.10 R. 20= also the fishery
on the Creek, situated in the NW1/4 and SE1/4 of section 27, T.10, R.20
and South half of section 26, T.10., Range 20., Situated in the herein
before mentioned County and State, provided always that if I, the said
William W. Lewis shall prior to the lape of this said lease, devis
or sell the same, this lease shall be null and void
signed sealed and delivered this 14th day of
November AD 1870

Sheriff's Deed
State of Florida }
County of Alachua } This Indenture made this first day of May AD
1871 between George L. Barnes Sheriff of said County of the first part and
Walter B. Simonton of the County of Fairfield State of So Carolina of the second
part Witnesseth, That whereas by virtue of a writ of Fieri Facias issued
out of the Circuit Court in said County and to him the said Sheriff directed
he was commanded That of the goods and chattles lands and tenements
of James A. Simonton and George W. Means he cause to be made the sum of
Five thousand nine hundred and ninety nine 14/100 dollars with interest
Thereon together with costs of suit which William Edwards lately on
the 14th day of February AD 1871 recovered in our Circuit Court
against James A. Simonton and George W. Means and whereas I George
L. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of said writ did on
the 30th day of March AD 1871 levy upon and seize the property
