State of Florida } Know all men by these
Alachua County   } Presents that J. Washington
                 } Moseley and Andrew Moseley
of the County and State aforesaid In consideration
of the sum of three Hundred Dollars to us paid by
Messrs J. Fleming & Sons of the County and State
aforesaid the receipt I do hereby acknowledge do
hereby give grant and sell and convey unto
the said J. Fleming & Sons, his heirs and assigns
one mare mule and one cream colored Horse
To Have and To Hold the said Horse and Mule his
heirs and assigns to his and their use and behoof
forever and I the said Washington Moseley and 
Andrew Moseley do hereby for ourselves covenant
with the said J. Fleming & Sons, their heirs and 
assigns that we are lawfully seized in fee simple
from all incumbrances that we have good right
to sell and convey the same to the J. Fleming & Sons
and that we warrant and defend the same to the
said J. Fleming & Sons their heirs and assigns
forever against the lawful claims and demands
of all persons. In Witness Whereof I the said
Washington Moseley, and Andrew Moseley
have hereunto set our hands and seals this
14th day of December AD 1870
