Alachua County } This Indenture made this Eleventh
day of September -- in the year of our Lord Eighteen
hundred and Sixty nine between James D. Matheson
of the State of Florida and County of Alachua the party
of the first part, and Charles O. Wittie of the City
of Charleston and State of South Carolina the party
of the Second part. Witnesseth: That for and in
Consideration of the Sum of Five hundred Dollars
good and lawful Money of the United States in
