State of Florida    }  This Indenture made the tenth day of May in the
Alachua County      }  year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred
and seventy one between Leonard G. Dennis of Alachua County State
of Florida party of the first part and Josiah T. Walls of the Second
part Witnesseth That the said party of the first part for and in Con-
sideration of the Sum of twelve hundred dollars to him paid by
the said party of the Second part the receipt whereof is hereby ac-
knowledged have granted bargained sold and Conveyed and
by these presents do grant bargain sell and Convey unto the said
party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever all
that parcel of land situated in the town of Gainesville Known and
described in the original plan or plat of said Town as the West
half of Block One (1) Range four (4) being two hundred (200)
feet north and south and ninety Eight and one half (98 1/2) feet
East and West together with all and Singular the tenements her-
editaments and appurtenances thereto belonging or in any
wise appertaining and the reversion and reversions remain
der and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all
the Estate right title and interest in said property possessions
Claims and demands whatsoever which the said party of the
first part has of in and to the above described premises and
every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances to have
and to hold forever. And the said party of the first part for
his heirs Executors and administrators do covenant promise
and agree to and with the said party of the second part his 
heirs and assigns that he is lawfully seized in fee Simple
of the above granted premises and that they are free from all
encumbrances that he has good right to sell and Convey the
same to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
forever as aforesaid and that he will and his heirs Exec-
utors and Administrators shall warrant and defend the
same to the said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns forever against the lawful Claims and demands
of all persons - In witness Whereof the said party of the
first part has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and
year first above written
