This Indenture made this Eight day of March in the year
One thousand Eight hundred and sixty nine between James
H. Roper of the Town of Gainesville in the County of Alachua
and State of Florida of the first part and Francis W.
Doig of the same place of the second part Witnesseth:
That the said party of the first part for and in consider-
ation of the sum of two hundred dollars lawful money of
the United States to him duly paid before the delivery
hereof doth bargain and sell and by these presents doth
grant and convey to the said party of the second part
her heirs and assigns forever all that certain piece
or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Alachua
and State of Florida in Section (4) four Township ten (10)
south Range twenty (20) East and which is known and
described as follows to wit; said lot situated East
of Sweet Water branch and lying East of James Doigs lot &
running from the center of said Branch East one hundred
and Eighty feet to a Stake: Then South two hundred
feet to a Stake within (30) thirty feet of H. Averas line:
Then West two hundred and fifty feet (250) to center of 
said Branch: then up said Branch to the corner of
beginning containing one acre more or less and bounded
on the west by Sweet Water Branch which divides said
lot and James Doigs lot; on the south by J.H. Ropers land
on the East by H. Averas land a street of (30) thirty feet
dividing said lot from H. Avera lot; on the North
