This Indenture made this the thirteenth day of March
A.D. Eighteen hundred seventy one between Mary E. Woods of
the County of Alachua State of Florida party of the first
part & G.D. Chesser of the same place party of the second
part Witnesseth That the party of the first part for and
in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to
her in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery
of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have bargained & sold by these presents bargain sell
& convey unto the party of the second part all that cer=

Justice of the Peace in and for said County personally Came
John H. Anderson and Celia Waits both of Gainesville Florida
who being duly Sworn according to law depose and say that
they were well acquainted with William Waits who died
on the fifteenth day of June A.D. 1871 - in Said Town of Gaines-
ville - That to their certain knowledge said Waits gave
a Certain Double barreled gun having the stock broken
at the lock and repaired with certain strips of brass
Screwed therein and marked on the left side of the
butt with the letter T to his son Henry Waits aged a-
bout four years that during his last sickness as he had
done before in his life time he Called their attention to
the fact that he had given and then gave said Gun to his
said Son Henry } his
