For and in consideration of the Rent and occupation
of a certain tract or parcel of land situate and laying
in section Thirty Township Eleven Range twenty one
of the Arodonda Grant and containing twelve acres
of open land more or less I hereby promise to pay
on or before the 10th day of October next to J.H. Stokes
or Bearer one Bale of sea Island to contain 350
pounds of Lint or sixteen hundred pounds in the
Seed - In testimony whereof I have hereunto set

State of Florida. County of Alachua.
 Know all men by these presents that I Berry F. Parker of the
County & State aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum
of sixteen hundred dollars to me in hand paid by Jane
A. Clarke of the same County & State at and before the sealing
of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have bargained granted sold conveyed aliened remised
released and confirmed and do by these presents grant
bargain sell convey alien remise release and confirm
unto the said Jane A. Clark the following described tract
or parcel of land lying and situate in the County and
State aforesaid and known as the south west quarter
of the north west quarter of section five Township Eight
south Range twenty East according to the returns of
the United States surveys to the land office at
Newnansville Florida and containing by said re-
turns forty acres more or less together with all the
appurtenances thereunto belonging to have and to
hold the same unto the said Jane A. Clark her heirs and
assigns forever in fee simple, and I the said Barry
F. Parker for myself and my heirs Executors and adminis-
trators do hereby covenant grant and agree to and with
the said Jane A. Clark that I am now the owner of
the said premises and I am seized thereof in fee simple
of a good and indefeaseable Estate therein: and that I
have free right and power to sell and convey the
same in fee simple absolute and that I the said B.
F. Parker and all persons claiming lawfully un-
der me will at any time hereafter at the expense
and request of the said Jane A. Clark her heirs
and assigns make all such other and further
