Alachua County   }  This Indenture made this (6th) Sixth
day of September in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight
hundred and Sixty Six between James Beville of
Alachua County and State of Florida and Jane E. Beville
his wife of the first part and Horatio Jenkins Jr and
Leonard G. Dennis of the County and State aforesaid -
Witnesseth: That the Said parties of the first part for and
in Consideration of the Sum of five hundred dollars lawful
money of the United States Secured to be paid to them
before the delivery hereof hath bargained and sold and
Conveyed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell
and Convey to the Said Jenkins & Dennis their heirs and
assigns forever all those Certain pieces or parcels of
land lying and being in the County of Alachua and State
of Florida which are Known and described as follows:
To wit: The (NE1/4) North East Quarter of the North East
Quarter and the South East Quarter of the North East
Quarter of Section (5) Five Township Eight (8) South
Range Twenty (20) East, being lands Conveyed by deed
by Florida Railroad Company to James Beville.
  To have and to hold the Same together with all and
Singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
and all the Estate title and interest of the Said par-
ties of the first part therein Said lands as above de-
Scribed supposed to Contain Eighty acres more or less.
And the Said parties of the first part doth hereby
Covenant and agree with the said parties of the sec-
ond part that at the time of delivery hereof the said
parties of the first part are the lawful owners of
the premises above granted and Conveyed in fee
Simple absolute and that they will warrant and
defend the above granted premises and personally in
the quiet and peaceable possession of the Said parties
of the Second part their heirs and assigns forever and
against Every other persons lawfully Claiming the
Same - In Witness Whereof we have hereunto Set
our hands and seals this 8th day of September Eighteen
Hundred and Sixty Six.
