Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that we John A.
Dean and Susan J. Dean of the State and County aforesaid for
and in consideration of the sum two hundred fifty seven
dollars to us in hand paid have granted bargained sold
and conveyed unto Augustus Monroe of Putnam County
State aforesaid all that tract or parcel of land known
and described as the South East quarter of the North East
quarter of section thirty six in Township Eleven South 
Range Twenty two East containing Thirty nine 94/100 acres
and lying and being in Alachua County State aforesaid
to have and to hold with all the appurtenance and
all the right title and interest claim and demand
of us or either of us in the premises to have and to 
hold the same with the appurtenance unto the said
Augustus Monroe and unto his heirs in fee simple forever
and I the said John A. Dean for myself and my heirs
do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Augus
tus Monroe and his heirs and assigns to warrant and
defend the right and title of the above bargained and
sold premises unto him the said Augustus Monroe
and his heirs and assigns forever. In testimony whereof
we have hereunto set our hands and seals this 25th day of

Alachua County   } Carlton a Justice of the Peace John
A. Dean and Susan J. Dean his wife (both well known to
m) and both acknowledged to me that they signed
the above instrument of writing for the purposes therein
Expressed on the day and year above mentioned and Susan
J. Dean being by me Examined separate and apart from
her said husband says that she signed the same freely
voluntarily without compulsion constraint dread or fear
from or of her said husband In testimony whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and seal
