Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that we Sam-
uel J. Downing and Rebecca Downing wife of said Samuel J.
Downing of the County and State aforesaid for and in consideration
of the sum of one dollar to us in hand paid by Henry T. Downing
have and by these presents doth give grant and convey unto
the said Henry T. Downing the Entire Stock of Cattle now claimed
by the said Rebecca Downing wife as aforesaid consisting of
twenty two head of cows and calves and heifers to have and to hold
the same to the said Henry T. Downing and his successors for-
ever together with the future increase of said stock of Cows
in trust however for the parties and purposes hereinafter
declared and specified that is to say to and for the support
of us the said Samuel J. Downing and Rebecca Downing
and our children living with us for the joint lives of us
the said Samuel J. and Rebecca and for the life of the
survivor of us and at the death of our survivor to be e-
qually divided between the heirs of the said Rebecca
begotten of her body by the said Samuel J. her husband
aforesaid and it is Expressly stipulated and agreed and
provided that the management control and possession
of said stock of Cattle above specified shall be in
and belong to the said Rebecca Downing during her
life and it is hereby stipulated that beef out of said
stock may be sold the proceeds to be applied to the
purposes of this trust but such sale shall only be
made with the consent of the said Rebecca Downing
In testimony whereof we the said Samuel J. Downing
and Rebecca Downing his wife have hereunto put our
hands and seals the fifteenth day of June AD Eighteen
hundred and seventy one
