year therein mentioned and the said Josephine
Monroe his wife being by me separately Examined
separate and apart from her said husband Augustus
Monroe acknowledged that she Executed the foregoing
instrument of writing for the purpose therein Ex-
pressed and relinquished all her dower or right of
dower in or the same without any fear threat or
compulsion of or from her said husband - In 
testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand
