Jefferson County } Know all men by these presents that I
Hillery Whitehurst Senr of the State and County above men-
tioned for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred
dollars to me in hand paid by Mathew Granger the receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge have given granted
bargained sold and released unto the said Mathew
Granger the following described lands viz: The North
half of the South East quarter of section Thirty one in
Township Number Eight south of Range Number seven-
teen East containing seventy nine and ninety three hun-
dredths acres more or less lying and being in Alachua
County State of Florida and known in the U.S. Surveys as
above described unto the said Mathew Granger his heirs
and assigns forever - And I the above named Hillery
Whitehurst Senr do hereby relinquish set apart and turn
over unto the said Mathew Granger all my right titles
claims and demands unto the above described lands
in fee simple - In witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and seal this 15th day of October AD 1866.
