This Indenture made this 26th day of April AD Eighteen hundred
and fifty five Between George R. Fairbanks of the City of St.
Augustine and County of St Johns party of the first part and
William B. Wimberly of Alachua County Florida party of the
second part Witnesseth That the said party of the first part
in consideration of the sum of Three hundred and fifty
dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged hath bargained and sold and by these
presents doth grant and convey to the said party of the
second part his heirs and assigns forever all that parcel
of land situate in the County of Alachua aforesaid in Township
seven and Range 18 being so much of the South East quarter
of section Twenty nine as lies within the lines of the Grant
surveyed to the heirs of Clark and Atkinson known as the
Atkinson Grant and also so much of the North East
quarter of the South West quarter of the same section 29
T.7 R.18 as lies within the lines of said Grant said par-
cels Estimated to contain in all one hundred and fifty
acres and forming part and parcel of the said Atkinson
Grant so called and adjoining the westerly boundary of the
same with the appurtenances and all the Estate title and
interest of the said party of the first part therein and
the said party of the first part doth hereby covenant and
agree with the said party of the second part that at
the time of the delivery hereof the said party of the
first part was the lawful owner of the premises a-
bove granted and seized thereof in fee simple absolute
and that they will warrant and defend the above granted
premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the |
