County of Alachua } This Indenture made and entered into
this second day of February Eighteen hundred and seventy one
by and between Sarah C. Fugate of the first part and
Franklin P. Thomas of the second part all of the State
aforesaid. Witnesseth That the party of the first part
in consideration of the sum of four hundred and Eighty
Dollars in hand paid have bargained and sold and
by these presents conveyed and confirmed unto the said
Franklin P. Thomas and his heirs forever a certain tract
or parcel of land described as follows to wit The North west
quarter of section twenty seven Township Eight and range
15 containing thirty seven & 38/100 acres - The North East
quarter of the North East quarter section twenty Eight
Township Eight Range Eighteen containing forty acres
and the south half of lot No 2 in section twenty two
Township Eight and Range eighteen containing thirty four
& 57/100 acres being in all one hundred and twelve
acres more or less lying and being in the County and
State before named to have and to hold said land
and all and singular thereunto belonging tenements
