State of Florida }
County of Alachua} This Indenture made this third day of
April A.D. 1871, between George L. Barnes Sheriff of Said
County of the first part and Stephen F. Harvard of said
County and State of the Second part Witnesseth,
That Whereas by virtue of Sundry writs of Fieri Facias
issued out of the Circuit Court for Alachua
County and to him the said Sheriff directed he was
Commanded That of the goods and Chattles Lands
and tenements of William T. Richardson Adminis-
trator of the Estate of James M. Richardson deceased
he Cause to be made the Sum of Nine hundred and
fifty Eight 56/100 Dollars with interest thereon together
with Costs of Suit which James P. Richardson lately
on the tenth day of April A.D. 1869 recovered in our Cir-
Cuit Court against William T. Richardson admin-
istrator of the Estate of James M. Richardson deceased
as well as the Sum of One hundred and seventy three
Dollars with interest thereon together with Costs of suit

which E.S. Gun^els lately on the Sixth day of January
A.D. 1871 recovered in our County Court against William
T. Richardson Administrator of the Estate of James M.
Richardson deceased and Whereas I George L. Barnes
as Sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of said writs did
on the Sixth day of January A.D. 1871, levy upon and
seize the property hereinafter described and did by virtue
of said writs and pursuant to the Statutes in such
Case made and provided duly advertise the said
property for Sale on the third day of April A.D. 1871,
and did on that day Sell the Same at public auction
according to law to Stephen F. Harvard for the Sum
of Fifty Dollars being the highest bidder for the same.
Now Therefore Know ye That I the Said George L. Barnes
as Sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of the said writs
and of the Statutes in such Cases made and provided
for and in Consideration of said Sum of Fifty
Dollars to me in hand paid by the said Stephen F.
Harvard party of the Second part have granted bargained
and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and
Sell unto the said Stephen F. Harvard party of the Sec-
ond part his heirs and assigns forever all the fol-
lowing property to wit: Lot three (3) Block three (3)
Range Four (4) Situated on the north side of the Court
house square in the Town of Gainesville together with
all the improvements thereon with all the rights
titles interests and Equities which the said William
T. Richardson as administrator of the Estate of James
