County of Alachua }  I A.H. Perry a Justice of
the Peace do hereby Certify unto all whom it may
Concern that Dorcas D. McCrorey wife of the
within named John McCrorey did this day appear
before me and upon being privately and Separately
examined apart from her husband before me
did declare that she did freely and voluntarily
without any dread fear or Compulsion of any
person or persons whatever, renounce release and
forever relinquish all her right and Claim of
Estate in and Dower to all and Singular the rights
and appurtenances in and belonging to the within
deed of Conveyance and release - Given under my
hand and seal this the 10th day of March AD 1859.

                    Sheriffs Deed
State of Florida  }
County of Alachua } This Indenture made this fourth day of 
September AD 1871 between George L. Barnes Sheriff of said 
County of the first part and Mrs Omerea B. Thomas of the 
County of Alachua State of Florida of the second part Wit=
nesseth: That whereas by virtue of Sundry Writs of Fieri 
Facias issued out of the County and Justices Court for said
County and to him the said Sheriff directed he was com=
manded That of the Goods and Chattles, lands and tenements
of William T. Cheves he cause to be made the sum of Forty
one Dollars together with interest thereon and costs of suit which 
Frazier & Thomas lately on the 4th day of June 1860 recovered 
in a Justices Court as well as the sum of one hundred and 
thirteen 58/100 Dollars with interest thereon together with costs
of suit which A.H. Cole lately on the 3rd day of Jany AD
1870 lately recovered in our County Court against William
T. Cheves and whereas I George L. Barnes as Sheriff as afore=
said by virtue of Said writ did on the 1st day of July 
AD 1871 levy and seize the property hereinafter described
and did by virtue of said writs and pursuant to the 
Statutes in such case made and provided duly adver=
tize the said property for sale on the fourth day of 
September AD 1871 and did on that day sell the same
