sold and transferred, and by these presents doth grant bargain sell and alien
and transfer, all that certain land and Lots in said County of Alachua
being Three quarters of land known as Section (34) Thirty four in Township
number Ten (10) being the Three quarters adjoining lands of Messrs Thomas and
Roundtree, Also lands of M.S. Perry deceased, (one quarter of said section 34
being reserved by said party of the first part and which adjoins lands of
E.E. Adamson Esq said lands being part of land conveyed by G.L. Barnes
Sheriff to said party of the first part by a certain conveyance bearing date the
first day of February AD 1869
To Have and to hold the above described premises, together with all
and singular, the rights, privileges, easements, and appurtenances thereunto
belonging or in any wise appertaining thereunto, unto the said party of
the second part to his heirs and assigns forever, and the said party of
the first part for himself his heirs and assigns doth covenant and agree
that they are seized of a good and indefeasible fee simple to the above
premises (under said Sheriffs deed) and that the said party of the second
part his heirs and assigns shall quietly and peaceably enjoy the said premises
against all and every person claiming or to claim the same, and that the
will at all times warrant and defend said party of the second part in
one dollar the peaceable possession of the same.
