Alachua County } This Indenture made and entered into on this eleventh
day of September Anno Domini One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy one
between Henry S. Harmon and Sophia Harmon his lawful wife of the county
of Alachua and State of Florida parties of the first part and Ellen T. Walls of
Said county party of the second part. Witnesseth: That in consideration of the
Sum Twelve Hundred ($1200.) dollars to them in hand paid by the party of the
Second part at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, Sold, aliened,
remised, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents do grant
bargain, sell, alien, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part
his heirs and assigns forever, all the following lots, tracts or parcels of Land
Situated, lying and being in the County of Alachua and State of Florida
and Known and described as follows:
The South East Quarter of the North East Quarter of Section Thirty One (31) and
South West Quarter of the North West Quarter of Section Thirty two (32) all
of Township Seven (7) South Range Nineteen (19) East containing Eighty 9/100
(80.09) acres and lying and being in the County of Alachua in Said State
of Florida, also, all of that certain piece and parcel of Land Known
and described as the North Half of the North East Quarter of Section number
Thirty one (31) in Township number Seven (7) South of Range number nineteen
(19) East containing Eighty acres more less, lying and being in the County
of Alachua and State of Florida. Together with all and singular the
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise
appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders,
rent issues and profits thereof and also all the Estate right, title and interest
dower and right of dower property possession and demand Whatsoever as
well in law as in equity of the said parties of the first part and of
in and to the Same and every part and parcel thereof with the
appurtenances. To Have and To Hold the aforesaid bargained premises
together with all and Singular the rights members tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances
to the Same belonging unto the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns
to her and to their own sole and proper use benefit and behalf in Fee
Simple -- And the said parties of the first part for their heirs executors
and administrators do hereby covenant with the said party of the Second
part her heirs and assigns that they are lawfully seized of said
premises as of fee and have good and lawful right to Sell and convey
the Same and that they will and their heirs and executors and adminis=
trators Shall forever warrant and defend the title of said premises
unto the Said Ellen T. Walls the party of the second part her heirs
and assigns against the claim of any and all persons whomsoever
lawfully claiming the Same. In Testimony whereof the said parties of
he first part have hereunto set their hands and affixed their Seals the
day and year above written.
