as therein contained and expressed

This Indenture made this sixth
day of November AD 1871 between George L. Barnes Sheriff
of said County of the first part and Mrs Idella Kenn=
ard of said County and State of the second part
Witnesseth: That whereas by virtue of sundry writs
of Fiera Facias issued out of the Circuit Court for
said County and to him the said Sheriff directed he
was commanded of the goods and Chattles Lands
and Tenements of Philip Dell he cause to be made
the sum of Seventy eight & 4/100 Dollars with interest
thereon together with costs of suit which Matilda S.
Brown Admx &c lately on the 9th day of April
AD 1860 recovered in our Circuit Court against D.
J. Redought E.S. Gunnels and Phillip Dell as well
as the sum of __ Dollars on Sundry others Executions
is issued out of its Circuit Court for said County in
favor of Mrs P.L. Stanley J.H. Inabrut and his wife Angeline
Townsend and Daniel Weimer and other creditors and where=
as I George L. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid by virtue
of said writs and pursuant to the Statutes in such cases
made and provided did on the 7th day of July AD 1871
levy upon and seize the property hereinafter described, and
did by virtue of said writs and pursuant to the Statutes
in such cases made and provided duly advertize the
said property for sale on the day of AD 1871
and did on that day sell the same at public Auction
According to law to Mrs Idella Kennard for the sum
of Fifty one Dollars being the highest sum bid for the same
Now therefor Know Ye that I George L. Barnes as Sheriff
as aforesaid by virtue of the said writs and pursuant to the
Statutes in such case made and provided for and in
Consideration of the said sum of Fifty one Dollars to me
in hand paid by the party of the second part have granted
bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain
and sell unto the said Mrs Idella Kennard party of the |
