Sealy his wife and acknowledged that they ex
ecuted the foregoing deed for the purposes there
in set forth. And Mary E. Sealy being examined
by me separate and apart from her said
husband acknowledged that she joined with
her husband in the execution of the same for
the purpose of conveying all her Dower or
right of Dower in and to the premises by said
Deed conveyed and that the same was done
freely and voluntarily without any fear or appre
hension of or from her said husband

This Indenture made the first day of December
in the year of one thousand Eight hundred and
seventy one between Virginia of the County
of Alachua and State of Florida of the first part
& James W. Stephens of the same place of the second
part.
Witnesseth that the said party of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of Two hun-
dred and forty dollars lawful money of the United
States to her duly paid before the delivery hereof
hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth
grant and convey to the said part of the
second part to his heirs and assigns forever all
