This Indenture made and entered into this the
twenty ninth day of September in the year of our
Lord Eighteen hundred and seventy one by and between
George M. Coleman and Sallie E. Coleman his wife of the
County of Alachua and State of Florida parties of 
the first part and Cynthia A. May of the said Coun
ty and State party of the second part
                        Witnesseth That the said par=
ties of the first part for and in consideration of the
sum of six hundred dollars lawful money of the
United States to them in hand paid at and before
the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bar=
gained sold confirmed and conveyed and by these
presents do hereby grant bargain sell confirm and
convey unto the said party of the second part her
heirs and assigns forever all that certain lot tract
or parcel of land lying and being and being situate
in the Town of Gainesville County of Alachua and
State of Florida and known and described as follows
viz Lot number seven (7) "(East Gainesville)" in section
four (4) Township ten (10) Range Twenty (20) Arredondo
Grant Commencing at the south east corner of the
old town of Gainesville at the run of Sweet water
Branch running east three hundred feet to a stake
thence west three hundred feet to a stake thence south
to the starting point or beginning containing two (2)
acres more or less Bounded on the south by lands of
J.H. Roper on the east by lands of Mary L. Cannon
on the North by lands of Tillman Ingram and on
the west by sweet water branch separating said lot from
the old Town of Gainesville together with all and
singular the tenements hereditaments and appurte=
nances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining
To have and to hold the same unto the said party of
the second part her heirs and assigns in fee simple for=
ever and the said parties of the first part do fur=
ther covenant with the said party of the second part
that they are lawfully seized of the above described
lot of land that they have good right to sell the
same and they will warrant and defend the said
party of the second part in the peaceable possession
of the same against the claims of all persons what=
soever To all which, the said parties of the first part
do by these presents firmly bind themselves their heirs
executors administrators and assigns forever
In witness whereof the said parties of the first part
have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year
first above written
