last past, levy upon and seize the property, hereinafter 
                    mentioned and described and whereas the said George L.
                    Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid did by virtue of said Writ
                    and pursuant to the Statute in such case made and provided 
                    duly advertize the said property for sale on the first day 
                    of December A.D. Eighteen Hundred and Sixty Eight
                    being the day of the date of these presents, and did on this 
                    day sell the same at public outcry, according to Law to the
                    said John R. Hague, for the Sum of One Hundred and ten
                    Dollars, he (the said John R. Hague) being the highest bidder
50 US RS            for the same - I George L. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid by
Canceled            virtue of said writ and in persuance of the Statutes in Such 
                    case made and provided, as well as in consideration of 
                    the sum of One Hundred and ten Dollars to me in hand 
                    paid by said John R. Hague, the receipt whereof is hereby
                    acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold transferred aliened
                    remised, released, conveyed and confirmed, and do by these 
                    presents grant, bargain, sell, transfer, alien, remise, release
                    convey and confirm unto said John R. Hague his heirs and
                    assigns all that certain tract or parcel of land situated, lying
                    and being in the County and State aforesaid and known
                    and described on the map of the public Survey as Section
                    twenty one (21) Township (8) Eight South of Range nineteen (19)
                                      half 
                    East, and the south^of Section Sixteen (16) in Township (8) Eight
                    South of Range nineteen East, the South west quarter of the South west
                    quarter of section Fifteen in Township Eight south of Range nineteen
                    East containing in all one thousand (1000) acres, together with all
                    and Singular the right title and interest which he the
                    Said Archelaus Hague, had in the said described property
                    To have and to hold the said premises to him the said
                    John R. Hague his heirs and assigns forever, as fully 
                    and absolutely as I the said Sheriff by virtue of said
                    writ in persuance of said Statute and in consideration
                    of the premises aforesaid might could or ought to convey
