Alachua County   } This Indenture made this 1st day of
January AD 1872 between Leroy Chesser of said State and
County of the first part and John Chesser of the same
State & County of the Same part Witnesseth - Whereas I
Leroy Chesser being an aged man and knowing it is
appointed unto man once to die and being of a sound
and disposing mind and wishing to provide for the main-
tainance of myself during my old age and also to pro-
vide for one of my Children to wit John Chesser who has
been a dutiful and obedient Child - Now therefore I
Leroy Chesser for and in Consideration of the natural love
and affection which I bear for my son John Chesser and
the further Consideration that in hand paid &
the still further Consideration that I am to be provided
with a house during my lifetime - I do therefore give grant
bargain and sell unto the Said John Chesser his heirs
and assigns all that Certain piece or parcels of land lying
and being in the County of Alachua and State of Florida and
known and described as follows - The west half of the
SE Quarter of Section Thirty five in Township Seven South
of Range nineteen East in the district of lands Subject
to sale at Newnansville Florida Containing Eighty acres
and two hundredths of an acre together with all and Singular tenements
and appurtenances thereunto belonging To have and to
hold the above granted premises unto the Said John
Chesser his heirs and Assigns forever.
        In witness Whereof I have hereunto Set my
hand and Affixed my Seal this the day and year above

County personally Came Leroy Chesser who being duly
Sworn Says that he Signed Sealed and delivered the
foregoing deed of Conveyance for the uses and purposes therein set forth
Sworn to & Subscribed before me this 2d day of Jan 1872.
