Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that we James
Martin and his wife Cornelia A. Martin of the first part &
John J. Brown of the second part Witnesseth that the
aforesaid parties of the first for & in consideration of
the sum of $50 Fifty Dollars to them in hand paid by the
party of the second part before the signing and sealing
of this instrument have granted bargained and sold
and do by these presents grant bargain and sell and
convey unto the said John J. Brown of the second
part his heirs and assigns forever the following de-
scribed lands to wit: The south east quarter of the
south east quarter of section nine Township twelve
south of Range twenty two East containing forty 27/100
acres and lying and being in the County of Alachua in
the aforesaid State To have and to hold unto John
J. Brown and his heirs & assigns forever in fee sim-
ple whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affixed
our seals this Eighth day of July AD 1871.

first part & W.M. Sherouse of the second part Witnesseth
that the aforesaid parties of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of $100 one hundred dollars to
them in hand paid by the party of the second part before
the signing and sealing of this Instrument have granted
bargained and sold and do by these presents bargain
grant and sell & convey unto the said W.M. Sherouse
of the second part his heirs and assign forever the
following described lands Fifteen acres of the south side
of lot No 10 of section 15 Township 12 in Range 22 East
and lying and being in the County of Alachua and in
State aforesaid to have and to hold unto W.M.
Sherouse & his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple
whereof we have hereunto set our hand & affixed
our seals this 8th day of July 1871
