Alachua County } This Indenture made and entered
into this Twenty first day of April A.D. 1869
between George L. Barnes Sheriff of said County of
the first part, and James B. Brown of said County
and State of the second part. Whereas by virtue of
Sundry writs of fieri facias issued out of the Circuit
Court for Alachua County and to the said Sheriff
delivered he was commanded that of the goods and
Chattels lands and tenements of the Estate of
William Cunningham deceased he cause to be
made the sum of Five thousand seven hundred
and thirty 05/100 dollars with interest thereon and
costs of suit which C.J. McDowell lately
recovered in the Circuit Court of Alachua County
against Geo W. Means admr of the Estate of
Wm Cunningham deceased, Also the Sum of
One hundred and fifty five 25/100 dollars with interest
------------------ thereon and costs of Suit, which James T. Thomas
150 U.S. as lately recovered in the Circuit Court of Alachua
R. Stamps County against G.W. Means Admr of the Estate
Cancelled of Wm Cunningham Decd Also the sum of Four
------------------ thousand two hundred and ninety 88/100 dollars with interest
thereon and the costs of suits which
William E. Johnson Assignee &c lately recovered in the
Circuit Court of Alachua County against Geo W. Means
Admr of the Estate of William Cunningham decd
And whereas the said Sheriff by virtue of said writs
did on the 29th day of January A.D. 1869, levy upon
and seize the property, herein after described, and whereas
the said George L. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid, did by virtue
of said writs, and pursuant to the Statute in such cases
made and provided, duly advertize the said property
for sale on the first day of March A.D. 1869, and
did on that day sell the same at public auction
according to law to the said James B. Brown. |
