State of Florida } This Indenture made the 30th
Alachua County } day of January A.D. 1872
between Daniel G. Anderson of Chester County in
the State of South Carolina of the first part
And P. Pinkerssohn and G. Joseph of Alachua
County Florida Trustees of the Jewish Cemetery
at Gainesville in the said State and County of
the second part, Witnesseth That for and in
consideration of the sum of Twenty dollars
the reciept whereof is hereby acknowledged
the said party of the first part has this
day granted bargained sold and conveyed
and by these presents doth grant bargain sell
and convey unto the said parties of the second
part as trustees as aforesaid the following described
tract or parcel of land: to wit One acre situated
in section four (4) of Township Ten (10) South Range
Twenty (20) East; the said lot lying on the East
side of and adjacent to the Florida Rail Road
and located as follows Beginning on the eastern
boundary line of said section four (4) at a point
Forty one (4150) chains and fifty links south of the
north east corner of said section four (4) and running
thence west twenty six (2635) chains and thirty five
links to the Florida Rail Road at which point the
land herein conveyed begins Running thence along
the margin of said Rail Road North 24° East
Three (3.17) chains and seventeen links to a stake
thence South 66° East Thence (316) chains and sixteen
links to a stake thence South 24° west Three (317)
Chains and seventeen links to a Stake thence North
66° West Three (316) Chains an sixteen links to the
point of beginning containing one acre To Have and
To Hold unto the said parties of the second part
as trustees as aforesaid & to their successors as
such trustees forever and for the express and
exclusive purpose of a Jewish Burial Ground
or semitary and the same to be forever unalienable
by the said parties of the second part or by
their successors to the trust herein raised.
And the said party of the first part hereby
covenants and agrees for himself his heirs executor
and administrators to warrant and forever defend
the title to the said property against himself
and all other persons whomsoever
