This Indenture made this 28
th day of November AD 1871 between George L. Barnes
Sheriff of said County of the first part and P.H. Young
of the County of Alachua State of Florida of the second
part Witnesseth: That whereas by virtue of a writ of Fieri
Facias issued out of the Circuit Court for said County
and to him the said Sheriff directed he was commanded
That of the goods and Chattles lands and tenements of
Hardy Stuckey he cause to be made the sum of
Eighty one 78/100 Dollars with interest thereon together
with costs of suit which Daniel B. Coker lately on
the 13th day of April AD 1860 recovered in our Circuit
Court against Hardy Stuckey and whereas I George
L. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of said writ
did on the 21st day of March AD 1871 levy upon and
seize the property hereinafter described and did by
virtue of said writs and pursuant to the Statutes in
such case made and provided duly advertise the said
property for sale on the 6th day of November AD 1871 and
did on that day sell the same at public Auction
according to law to P.H. Young for the sum of $192.30/100
Dollars being the highest sum bid for the same
Now therefor Know Ye that I the said George L. Barnes
as Sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of the said writs and
of the Statutes in such cases made and provided
for and in consideration of said sum of $192.30/100
Dollars to me in hand paid by the said P.H. Young
party of the second part have granted bargained and
sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell
unto the said P.H. Young party of the second part
his heirs and assigns forever all the following property
to wit: The NE1/4 of the NE1/4 the SE1/4 of the NE1/4 the N1/2
of Lot Number (8) Eight: The S1/2 of Lot number (2) two the
W1/2 of Lot Number (1) one The N1/2 of Lot Number (2) two
all in Section (1) one Township (8) Eight South Range (19)
Nineteen East Also the N1/2 of Lot No (8) Eight & the whole of
lot No (7) seven in Section (6) six Township (8) Eight South Range
(20) Twenty East Containing 343 acres more or less together with
all the rights titles interests and equities which the said
Hardy Stuckey had of in or to the same To have to hold as
fully as I the said George L. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid
might Could or ought to sell and convey the same
