State of Florida } Know all men by these that I William
Alachua County } Reuben of the State of Florida and
County of Alachua for and in consideration of the
love and Affection I have and bear to & for my
Wife Catharine Reuben & also the further consideration
of five Dollars to me in hand paid the receipt where=
of is hereby acknowledged have bargained sold and
delivered unto the said Catharine Reuben the following
property to wit One red pieded Ox marked underbit
in one ear and split in the other and Branded G on
the left hip Also one Jersey Wagon all my household
and Kitchen furniture consisting of beds bedsteads
sheets quilts chairs tables benches boxes trunk chests
buckets pails pots ovens Kettles Jarrs plates Dishes
Cups Saucers &c &c, Also 40 bushels of Corn 500 lbs
Fodder thirty bushels of potatoes and one saddle
together with twelve head of Chickens more or less
Also the proceeds of sale of one bale of Short Cotton
now in the hands of Mr George Savage. To Have
and to Hold the said goods unto the said Catharine
Reuben, her Executors Administrators & assigns to her
& their own proper & sole use & behoof forever and
I the said William Reuben for myself Executors
& Administrators and Assigns will warrant and defend
the said bargained property unto the said Catharine
Reuben her heirs Executors and Administrators from and
against all persons
