This indenture made and entered into this 22d day of January
AD 1872 between David P. Newsom of the town of Micanopy
County of Alachua and State of Florida the party of the first
part and Charles H. Crisman of the Town of Micanopy
County of Alachua and State of Florida the party of the 
Second part Witnesseth: That the said party of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of thirty dollars to him
in hand paid by the party of the second part at and
before the ensealing and delivery of the presents, the receipt
whereof he does hereby acknowledge has granted, bargained
sold and conveyed and by these presents does fully freely and
absolutely grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Charles
H. Crisman and his heirs and assigns forever a certain parcel
or lot of land, together with all the priviliges and appertenances
thereto pertaining - lying and situate in the town of Micanopy
County of Alachua and State of Florida, containing two acres
more or less and described as follows, Viz: Lots three and four
of Township four and Range four, said lots being described accord
ing to a survey made during the lifetime of Joel B. Smith deceased
To have and to hold the afore granted premises to the said Charles
H. Crisman and his heirs and assigns in fee simple forever:
and the said party of the first part, for himself and his heirs
Executors and administrators does covenant with the said party
of the second part, and his heirs and assigns, that he is lawfully
seized in fee of the aforegranted premises: that they are free from
all encumbrances, that he has good right to sell and convey
the same to the said Charles H. Crisman as aforesaid and that he
the party of the first part will and his heirs, Executors and 
administrators shall warrant and defend the same to the said
Charles H. Crisman and his heirs and assigns forever against the
lawful claims and demands of all persons.
