County of Alachua } This Indenture made this 9th day
June in the year Eighteen hundred & Sixty nine, between Peter
B. Perry of said County and State aforesaid of the first
part and David Black of the same State and County of
the Second part Witnesseth that the said Peter B. Perry for
and in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred Dollars
to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknow
=ledged has by these presents, given, granted, bargained and
sold unto David Black his heirs and assigns a certain
piece or parcel of land, lying and being in the County of Alachua
and State of Florida and known and distinguished as the
South half of the South West quarter and the South west
quarter of the North West quarter of section Nine, Township
Ten, Range Twenty two S & E containing 119 **/100. Also the
South half of the South west quarter of section Nine in
Township Ten S of Range twenty two East containing sixty nine
80/100 acres together with all the privileges and appurtenan
=ces thereunto in any wise appertaining. To Have and to hold
the above granted premises unto the said David Black his
heirs and assigns forever in fee simple. And the said
Peter B. Perry will and his heirs Executors and administrators
shall the said property to the said David Black his heirs Exec
=utors and administrators forever warrant and defend against
the lawful demands of all persons whatever, And for the consid
=eration aforesaid and for divers other good and valuable
considerations, I Elizabeth Perry wife of the said Peter B. Perry
do hereby release, relinquish and quit claim unto the said
David Black his heirs Executors and administrators and
assigns all my right claim or probability of Dower in or out of
the aforesaid premises - In Witness whereof we the said
Peter B. Perry and Elizabeth Perry his wife have hereunto
set our hands and seals this 9th day of June AD 1869
