Alachua County } This Indenture made and Entered into
this the thirteenth day of February AD one thousand Eight
hundred and Seventy two, Between James J. Johnson
of the County of Lafaett and State aforesaid party
of the first part and Kate C. Darden of the above
County and State party of the second part.
Witnesseth that the Said
James J. Johnson for and in Consideration, of the Sum
of one hundred and Seventy five dollars to him in
hand paid by Kate C. Darden, the receipt wherof is
hereby Acknowledged, do hereby give grant Sell and
Convey and do by these Presents give grant Sell and Convey
unto the Said Kate C. Darden, her heirs administrators
and assigns, one iron grey mare left Ear nearly Black,
named Mary, to have and to hold Said described mare
unto the Said Kate C. Darden her heirs administrators
and assigns in fee Simple forever, In Witness whereof
I, James J. Johnson have hereunto Set my hand and Seal
this the 13th day of February AD 1872
