"Sheriffs Deed"

Alachua County   } This indenture made this 6th day of March
AD 1872, between P. Shemwell Sheriff Extraordinary 
or Elisor appointed by Special order of the Court dated
March 4th AD 1872 to manage the Sale in Place of
Geo L. Barnes Sheriff of Alachua County, Florida, who
had resigned of the first part and Frances A. Pardee
and Henry E. Pardee Partners doing business under the
firm - named and Style of "F. and H. Pardee" of the
County of Alachua and State of Florida of the
second part: Witnesseth, That whereas by virtue of a
write of Fieri Facias issued out of the Circuit Court
in and for the County of Alachua and State of
Florida, and to him the said Sheriff directed, he was
commanded; That of the goods and chattels, lands
and tenements of John O'Malley be cause to be made
the sum of Five hundred and Seventy two 09/100 dollars
with interest thereon together with costs of Suit which
Francis A. Pardee and H.E. Pardee as Partners under
firm - name and Style of "F. and H. Pardee" lately
on the 14th day of May AD 1868 recovered in our Circuit
Court against the said John O.Malley; and whereas
the said George L. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid
by virtue of said writ, did on the first day of March
AD 1871 levy upon and seized the property hereinafter
described, and did by virtue of said writ, and pursuant
to the Statutes in such cases made and Provided,
duly advertise the said Property for sale on the 4th day
of March AD 1872 and J.P. Shemwell, Elisor, as
aforesaid, under and by virtue of the order granted as
aforesaid, on the 4th day of March AD 1872, did
on said 4th day of March AD 1872 sell the same at Public
outcry according to law to said "F. and H. Pardee.
Partners as aforesaid, for the sum of Four hundred and
twenty five Dollars being the highest sum bid for the
same: Now, therefore, know ye, that I the said P.
Shemwell as Sheriff extraordinary or Elisor, as aforesaid
by virtue of the said writ, and of the said order granted,
as aforesaid on the 4th day of March AD 1872 authori=
zing me as Sheriff or Elisor to carry on manage and
control said sale, and by virtue of the Statutes in such
cases made and Provided and for and in consideration of
the said sum of Four hundred and twenty five dollars
to me in hand paid by the said "F. and H. Pardee" Party
of the second part, have granted, bargained, and sold,
and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey
unto the said "F. and H. Pardee" Partners as aforesaid,
party of the second part heir heirs, Executors, administrators
