Alachua County   } This Indenture made the eighteenth day
                   of January AD one thousand eight
hundred and Seventy two Between James Hagood of the
first Part and James M. Woolard of the Second Part both
of the State of Florida and County of Alachua Witneseth,
That the Said James Hagood for and in Consideration of the
Sum of four hundred dollars in hand Paid at and before
the sealing and delivery of theses Presents the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained Sold and con=
veyed and by these Presents doth grant bargain Sell and convey
unto the Said James M. Woolard his heirs and assigns
all that tract or Parcel of land Situated lying and being in the
the County of Alachua and State aforesaid and described as
follows, The breadth of Twenty (20) Chain of the west Side of
Section Twenty five (25) Township Eleven (11) Range Twenty (20)
of the Arredondo Grant. The Whole of Said parcel of land
Supposed to contain one hundred and Sixty acres more or less.
To have and to hold Said bargained premises with all and
Singular the tenements and hereditaments thereto belonging
or in any wise appertaining to him the Said James M. Woolard
his heirs and assigns in fee Simple forever. And the Said James
Hagood his heirs Executors and administrators the Said bargained
premises unto him the Said James M. Woolard his heirs and assigns
Will Warrent and defend against the claims of all persons.
In Witness whereof the Said James Hagood hath hereunto Set his hand
and Seal the day and date above written. Signed Sealed and

H. Hagood, to me well known, who being duly Sworn Says that
