Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that
                   I, Eli Futch of the County and State
aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of Six=
hundred dollars to me in hand paid by John H. Markey
of the County of Alachua and State of Florida the receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge have bargained and
sold and quit claimed and by these presents do bargain
sell and quit claim unto the said John H. Markey his heirs
and assigns forever all my rights titles interest claim
and demand both at law and in equity and as well
possession as in Expectancy of in and situated in the
County of Alachua and State of Florida known by the
United States survey as the following described lands to wit
SE1/4 Sec 8 Township 7 Range 19 S & E and west 1/2 of SW1/4
sec 9 Township 7 Range 19 S.E. and NW1/4 of NW1/4 sec
16 Township 7 Range 19 S & E and NE1/4 of NE1/4 sec 17
Township 7 Range 19 S & E containing in all Three
hundred and twenty acres more or less to have and to
hold the above granted lands to the said John H. Markey
his heirs and assigns to his and their use and behoof
for Ever and I the said Elie Futch for my self and
my heirs Executors and administrators do covenant 
with the said John H. Markey his heirs or assigns that
I am lawfully seized in fee simple of the above said
granted lands that they are free from all encumbrances
that I have good right to convey and sell the same
to the said John H. Markey his heirs and assigns forever
against the lawful claims and demands of all persons
in witness whereof I the said Elie Futch and Martha
A.C. Futch wife of the said Elie Futch in token of
my release of all right and title of or dower in
the granted lands have hereunto set my or our hands
and seals this 7th day of December in the year of
our Lord Eighteen hundred and seventy one

State of Florida  } Before the subscriber a Justice of
County of Alachua } the peace in and for said County
personally came Elie Futch and Martha A.C. Futch
wife of the said Elie Futch who being duly sworn deposes
and says that they did jointly together sign seal and 
deliver the foregoing for the express purposes and 
uses therein set forth and further more the said Martha
A.C. Futch for her self separately and apart from her
said Husband do hereby release relinquish and quit
claim all her right and claim of Dower and right
of Dower whatever to the within named premises
