persons described in and who executed the same foregoing
conveyance and acknowledged that they executed the same
and said P.T. Hawthorn on private examination ackno
=wledged and agreed that she did of her own free will and
accord subscribed seal and deliver the said deed with an
intention thereby to renounce give up and forever quit
claim her right of dower and thirds and all her other

Know all men by these presents that I Peter Sparkman
of the County of Alachua and State of Florida for
                                             & fifty 
and in Consideration of the sum of one hundred^dollars
to me in hand paid by J.M. Sparkman of the County &
State aforesaid, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge,
do hereby grant sell and Convey unto the said J.M. Spark-
man his heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land
or tenement situated in the County of Alachua and State
of Florida, and Known and described by the United States
Survey as the South West quarter of the South East quarter
of Section (10) ten in Township (8) Eight South of Range
(21) twenty one East Containing forty acres more or less
to have and to hold the aforesaid granted premises unto the
said J.M. Sparkman his heirs and assigns to his &
their use and behoof forever and I the said Peter Spark
man do hereby for myself and my heirs executors and
administrators covenant with the said J.M. Sparkman
his heirs and assigns that I am lawfully seized in
fee simple of the afore granted premises that they
are free from all incumbrances that I have good
right to sell and convey the same to the said J.M. Spark-
man and that I and my heirs, executors and administra=
tors will and by these presents do warrant and defend the same
premises unto the said J.M. Sparkman his heirs and as-
signs forever against the lawful claims and demmands of
all persons.
     In witness whereof I the said Peter Sparkman to
gether with my wife Mary C. Sparkman who hereby
Relinquishes her right of dower in the Premises have
hereunto set our hands and seals this the ninth day
of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and sixty nine
