of the Peace in and for said County personally
came Peter Sparkman & Mary C. Sparkman, his and
severally acknowledged that they signed the foregoing and
for the purposes therein mentioned and the said Mary
C. Sparkman being examined separate and apart
from her said husband declared that she signed
the same freely voluntarily and without fear or com
pulsion of her said husband in testimony whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 9" day
of October AD 1869 -

   This Indenture made the 4" day of February in the
year one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven between
Seth R. Brown and Grace his wife of the County Marion
State of Florida of the first part Harriett E. McHenry of Alach
ua County and State aforesaid of the second part witness
eth that the said parties of the first part for and in Consider
ation of the sum of one thousand Dollars lawful Money
of the United States to them in hand paid by the said
party of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery
of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge hath
granted, bargained, sold, conveyed and confirmed and by these
presents doth grant, Bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the
said party of the second part and to her heirs assigns
forever all that certain tract of land situated in the
Town of Newnansville County of Alachua and State
aforesaid and described as follows Lots No one, two three and
four Block five Range two together with all and singular
the tenements hereditaments or in any way appertaining
and also all the Estate, right, title, interest, dower and right
of dower, claim demands whatsoever as well in law as
in equity of the said parties of the first of, in or to the above
described premises and every part and parcel thereof with the
appurtenances to have and to hold all and singular the above
