State of Florida } This Indenture made on the Twenty
Alachua County   } fifth day of November AD 1871
Between James M. Croxton of the first part and George
S. Riggs Cornelius Merry and George W. Means as Trustee
of Micanopy Lodge No 29 F.A.M. of the, of the
second part, Witnesseth that for and in Consid=
eration of the Sum of Three hundred Dollars to
him in hand paid at and before the sealing and
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged the said party of the first part
has given granted bargained sold and conveyed
and by these presents does so give grant bargain
sell and convey to the said parties of the second
part as Trustees aforesaid the following described
parcel of land or town lot situate in the Village
of Micanopy in the County and State aforesaid
To wit That certain lot commencing at a point on
the public square fifty feet north of the Street leading
to the seminary building by the Methodist Church
and running thence fifty feet north thence west sixty
one feet and ten inches thence South fifty feet and
and thence east sixty one feet and ten inches to point
of beginning and containing the one fifteenth of an
acre more or less it being the same parcel of land
on which is situate the buildings once known as the
Garrison Hall and Known now as the Masonic Lodge
To Have and To hold the said Town lot together with
all and singular the houses buildings improvements
and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise
appertaining unto the said parties of the second
part as Trustees aforesaid and to their successors
in office in perpetuity for the use benefit and behoof
of the said Micanopy Lodge Np 29 F.A.M.
  In Testimony whereof the said party of the first part has
hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal on this day
and the year first above written

Newsom a Justice of the Peace in and for the County & State
aforesaid J.M. Croxton who acknowledged that of his own
accord and for the purposes therein set forth he executed
the foregoing Indenture of deed
