duly Sworn, Says that he executed the foregoing
Deed of conveyance to James M. Girvin for the uses
and purposes therein contained and expressed;
and that he executed the Same as Sheriff of the
County of Alachua and State of Florida

County of Alachua } This Indenture made this the first day of 
                    March AD 1869 by George L. Barnes Sheriff 
of Said County of the first part, and Corinne Verdier of 
the County and State aforesaid of the Second part, Whereas
by virtue of Sundry writs of fieri facias issued out of the cir=
cuit Court of Alachua County, and to the Said Sheriff De=
livered, he was commanded that of the goods and chattels, 
lands and tenements of Jean H. Verdier he caused to be made 
the Sum of Seventy five dollars with interest thereon and costs 
of Suit which Phillip Dell lately recovered in the Circuit 
Court of Alachua County viz on the Seventeenth day of No=
vember AD 1868, as also the Sum of two hundred and thir=
ty nine and 76/100 dollars with interest thereon and costs
of Suit which George Pace lately recovered in the Circuit
Court of Alachua County viz on the Seventeenth day of
November AD 1868 against Jean H. Verdier, Whereas
the Said Sheriff by virtue of Said writs did on the twenty
fifth day of January AD 1868 levy upon and Seize the prop=
erty hereinafter described, and whereas the Said George L. =
