Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid, did by virtue of Said writs, and pursu=
ant to the Statute in Such cases made and provided duly advertise the 
Said property for Sale on Monday the first day of March AD 1869 be=
ing the day of the date of these presents, and did on this day Sell the 
Same at Public auction according to law to the Said Corinne C.
Verdier of the County and Stat aforesaid, for the Sum of One
hundred and Sixty Dollars being the highest bidder for the Same. 
Now therefore know ye that I the Said George L. Barnes as Said
Sheriff by virtue of the Said writs in Such cases made and provi=
ded in consideration of the Said Sum of One hundred & Sixty dollars 
to me paid by the party of the Second Part, have granted Sold
and by these presents do grant bargain and Sell unto the Said 
party of the Second part her heirs and assigns forever, all the 
following property to wit: The North East quarter of South east
quarter of Section thirty three, Township Seven South Range
Eighteen East, The West half of South west quarter of Sec=
tion Thirty four, Range Eighteen East, The South half of
North East quarter of Section thirty three, Range Eighteen
East, also the west of South half of North west quarter of
Section Thirty four Range Eighteen East, all in Township
Seven as aforesaid, in all containing two hundred and Fifty
three 86/100 acres, being the Southern or third part of a tract
of land Surveyed to J.G. Dell by George Watson County
Surveyor on third and fourth days of February AD 1862
together with all the rights title and interest of which the 
Said Jean H. Verdier had in the Said property Jointly
and Severally, And the Same to hold as fully as I the Said 
Sheriff as aforesaid under Said writs might could or ought 
to Sell and Convey the Same.
