This Indenture made the first day July in the year one thous-
an Eight hundred and seventy (1870) between Hephzebah E.
Taylor of the City County and State of New York party of the first
part and William M. Hoes of the same place party of the second
part, Witnesseth, That he said party of the first part in consideration
of the sum of Three thousand dollars to her duly paid before the de
livery hereof, hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth
grant and convey to the said party of the second part, his heirs
and assigns forever, All those certain lots, pieces or parcels of land
situate lying and being in the Arredonds Grant in the State of Florida
and described as follows -------------
section Thirty (30) in Township Eleven (11) Range (20) Twenty 1640 acres
Section Fourteen in Township Twelve (12) Range (18) Eighteen 1638 68 acres
Section Thirty six (36) in Township Eleven (11) Range (21) Twenty one 1640 acres
Section Thirty one (31) in Township Eleven (11) Range 20 Twenty 1640 acres
So as the same were purchased in the name of William Bloodgood
and Thomas Tileston, but for the use account and benefit of
the said party of the first part at the final sale of partition
of said grant on the twenty first day of February 1869 with the
appurtenances and all the estate, right, title and interest of the
said party of the first part therein, And the said party of the
first part doth hereby covenant and agree to and with the said
party of the second part, that at the time of the delivery hereof
the said party of the first part is the lawful owner of the prem-
ises above granted, and seized thereof in fee simple absolute
And that she will Warrant and Defend the said premises in
the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the
second part his heirs and assigns for ever.
In witness whereof the said party of the first part hath hereunto set
her hand and seal the day and year first above written.

One thousand eight hundred and seventy before me William Hay-
don Judge of the 4th Judicial District Court of the State of Nevada
residing therein duly commissioned and sworn personally app-
eared Hephzibah E. Taylor, whose name is subscribed to the ann-
exed instrument as a party thereto personally known to me to be
the individual described in and who executed the annexed in-
strument, and who duly acknowledged to me that she executed
the same freely and voluntarily and for the uses and purpo-
ses therein mentioned. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and affixed the seal of said 4th Jud'l Dist
