County of Lyon  } I George W. Keith County Clerk of
the County of Lyon aforesaid and ex officio of the 4th
Judicial District Court of the State of Navada do hereby
certify that W. Haydon whose name is subscribed to the foreg-
oing instrument as that of the officer before whom the same
was acknowledged was at the time of subscribing the same and
still is Judge of the 4th Judicial District Court of the State of
Navada duly qualified and acting and authorized by law
to certify to such acknowledgements, that the signature thereto
attached is his genuine signature and that all his official
acts are entitled to full faith and credit
           In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
           and affixed the seal of the District Court

This Deed made this the tenth day of January AD 1871 between
F.A. Lumkins of the first part Augustus Monroe of the Sec=
ond part. Witnesseth that the Parties of the first part in considera=
tion of one dollar paid and to secure the payment of the promisso=
ry notes herein after mentioned and which are given as part of
the purchase money for the conveyance of the lots or parcels of land
herein after mentioned, have bargained and sold and by these
presents, do bargain sell grant and convey unto the party of
the second part and unto his heirs and assigns forever in fee
simple absolute all those tracts or parcels of land in the
County of Alachua and State of Florida to wit: a tract of
land on the west side of Orang Creek in Section 10 Township
10 Range 22 The south East quarter of the S West quarter of the
South east quarter and the NW quarter of the SE quarter and
NW quarter of the SW quarter containing by estimation 160 acres
which lands are particularly described in a Deed of this date
for the conveyance of the lands and made by the party of the
second part to the party of the first part. To have and to hold
the above described lands with all the right title interest and Es=
tate appertaining and belonging to the same to the party of the
first part and unto his heirs and assigns forever in fee=
Simple absolute as fully as the same is possessed by the par=
ty of the first part - Never the less the condition of this Deed
is Such that the party of the first part is indebted
to the party of the second part in two promissory notes
of which the following are in substance and effect copies
to wit $325 Alachua County Florida January 10th 1871
Twenty four months after date I, promise to pay Augustus Monroe
